Where is the hosting infrastructure?
In Australian data centres in Sydney and Melbourne. Your call recordings, voicemails, transcripts and CDRs stay onshore. This is the only deployment model we offer.
Do I keep control of my system?
Yes. The hosting is fully managed but you keep full PBX-admin control: extensions, call rules, IVRs, queues, recordings, integrations, users. Cloud Phone System Australia manages the underlying infrastructure (server, OS, 3CX version, firewall, backups, SIP trunking) so you don't have to.
Do I bring my own SIP trunk?
No. Australian SIP trunking is part of the bundle - we provide it, we manage it. That's part of why our per-user rate is below per-user-only PBXs: we own the carrier relationships and pass the wholesale savings through.
What if I want to leave?
Take your data, take your numbers, take your phones. 3CX is an open-standard system - there's no proprietary lock-in. We'll export your config and recordings if you ever leave. We're confident you won't.
How fast can the system be live?
Most 10–40 user deployments are spun up in 1–2 business days. Number porting adds 5–15 business days depending on your existing telco. We run both systems in parallel through the cutover so you don't lose any calls.
What about updates and patches?
Handled by us. Security patches and OS updates apply during maintenance windows. 3CX version upgrades are tested by 3CX HQ first, then applied to your system on a scheduled cadence. We notify you in advance of any change and have a monthly backup-retention window if anything misbehaves.
