Common questions

Is it really as good as Zoom or Teams?

For internal team meetings and most external meetings, yes. The video and audio quality is comparable; the join experience is simpler (just a link). For very large webinars (500+) or AI-generated meeting summaries, Zoom and Teams have specific features 3CX doesn't try to match yet.

Can external participants join without a 3CX account?

Yes - they click a meeting link, type their name, allow the camera and microphone, and they're in. No sign-up, no install, no email verification.

Are meetings recorded?

Yes - recording is a one-click toggle for the host. Recordings are stored in your 3CX tenant with the same retention rules as call recordings.
